Recreation Works Labourer/ Operator

We are looking for motivated and safety-focused Recreation Works Labourers/Operators to join our Recreation Works team.

The Opportunity:

In this hands-on role, you will help maintain and enhance our parks, sporting fields, streetscapes, playgrounds and public open spaces, ensuring our community can enjoy high-quality recreational facilities.

In this hands-on role, you will be:

• Carrying out general labouring and maintenance activities across parks, reserves, sporting fields and streetscapes.
• Operating a range of mowing and horticultural equipment including tractors, ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers and associated plant.
• Assisting with the maintenance, cleaning and renewal of recreation infrastructure and public spaces.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in horticulture, parks and gardens, recreation maintenance or landscaping.
• Knowledge of mowing and horticultural equipment, including safe operation and practices.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A reliable work ethic and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Good problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
• A current Class C Driver's Licence.

Benefits:

These are full-time, permanent roles, working a 38-hour week, with a base salary range of $30.19 - $33.51 per hour based on demonstrated competencies + allowances + 12% super.
