Systems & Platform Engineer - OTS/ODS

About the role

We are seeking a Systems & Platform Engineer to support the infrastructure and technical platforms that underpin OTS/ODS services.

This position provides support across Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, SQL Server, MariaDB, Proxmox virtualisation, monitoring systems, backup platforms and tablet management technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve technical platform issues

• Support Windows and Linux server environments

• Maintain SQL Server and MariaDB platforms

• Support virtualisation environments and infrastructure services

• Assist with monitoring, backup and recovery activities

• Support tablet management and endpoint platforms

• Contribute to service improvements and platform reliability

• Deploy a variety of hardware to customer sites

• Spare parts management

• Device repairs - tablet and phones

About you

• Experience supporting infrastructure platforms

• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux

• Understanding of databases and virtualisation technologies

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• A passion for continuous improvement and technical learning
