Warehouse Assistant

Australand Agriculture Pty Ltd is an established Quality Agricultural Products retailer based in Wangara Western Australia, in the business of - fertilisers, irrigation products, equipment and crop protection products that help serve and help our local farmers grow.

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to support our growing business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting efficient workflow processes, and assisting with general warehouse activities.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring all items are accurately checked and recorded.
• Load and unload deliveries, including shipping containers, trucks, and utility vehicles (utes)
• Prepare and deliver orders to customers as required, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely transportation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations (valid forklift licence required).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Coordinate stock movements and assist with inventory counts.
• Support the team in meeting operational deadlines and targets.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, including filing and reporting

Required Skills & Experience:

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Valid manual driver’s license and forklift license (mandatory)

Desirable:

• Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or retail
• Prior experience with warehouse systems or stock platforms
