HD Fitter / Drill Fitter

Harvey Lane Drill Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our team on a casual or permanent basis, keeping our clients drilling and mining equipment in peak condition across Kalgoorlie, WA.

Based in Kalgoorlie, the role offers both local and FIFO arrangements, with dedicated field service work across active mining operations and no workshop walls to hold you back.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Assembly, maintenance and repair of drilling and associated equipment

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical faults in the field

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and maintenance documentation

• Maintaining compliance with Work Health & Safety procedures and policies

• Supporting the smooth and safe operation of client drilling programs

• Contributing to equipment reliability in demanding mining environments

Qualifications & capabilities:

• Australian-recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in fixed or mobile plant technology)

• 1–2 years' experience in a similar drill or heavy equipment maintenance role preferred

• Proven diagnostic and problem-solving ability in the field

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

• Solid understanding of WH&S procedures and policies

• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation

• HR driver's licence and high-risk licences (WAH, EWP, VLC, LF) preferred
