ILS is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Equipment Product Specialist (Wheelchair and Seating) to join our dynamic team servicing the Canberra region and surrounds. At ILS Rehab we are specialists in seating, mobility and wheelchair prescription. We offer choice and are passionate about finding the best clinical and functional assistive technology solution for each of our clients. As a member of our team, you will have an in-depth knowledge of seating and mobility prescription and provide support before, during and after equipment trials. You will work closely with the allied health community to ensure your clients are supported to achieve good clinical and functional outcomes.
Conduct seating and mobility assessments and equipment trials.
Prescribe seating and mobility solutions for clients based on identified clinical and functional needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with allied health professionals and clients through exceptional customer service and product expertise.
Create new business opportunities by delivering clinical education sessions and product in-service events for both new and existing referrers.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators to drive growth and business success.
Occupational Therapist (or other relevant allied health professional) with relevant Disability or Rehabilitation experience would be an advantage.
Industry experience as an Equipment Product Specialist (desirable).
Background in sales or customer-facing roles preferred, with confidence in conducting product trials.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Ability to provide education and support health professionals, clients, and their families, ensuring clear understanding of equipment benefits and applications.
Empathetic and client-focused approach with a genuine passion for improving client outcomes.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trusted relationships.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proven ability to meet KPIs and drive positive outcomes
Physically capable and comfortable with adjusting equipment and manual handling to move and transport equipment for trials and demonstrations.
Flexibility and willingness to travel within your designated territory.
A full Australian driver’s license
National Police Check

Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency
Vaccinations (flu and covid 19 including booster or medical exemption)
