At Amara Parfums, we're passionate about making luxury-inspired fragrances affordable and accessible. As a fast-growing brand specialising in premium "inspired-by" perfumes, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, long-lasting fragrances that captivate and delight.

We're looking for a Casual Retail Assistant to join our Cairns team, working across both our Cairns Central store and our Night Markets store. You'll get around 10 to 20 hours per week, with hours varying depending on business needs.

About the Role

As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be a brand ambassador for Amara Parfums, helping customers discover their perfect scent while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with customers to guide them on their fragrance journey.

• Confidently recommending scents based on customer preferences.

• Processing sales and handling transactions accurately.

• Maintaining beautiful, well-stocked displays across both locations.

• Supporting day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing.

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, confident communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people.

• Experince in a Retail sales role or something where comunocation with the customer is key

• A passion for fragrance and an eagerness to learn our product range.

• Reliability and flexibility to work across both our Cairns Central and Night Markets stores.

• Availability of 10 to 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

• Availability across the Christmas trading period is essential — this is our busiest time of year.

• Full daytime and evening availability. Please note this role is not suited to applicants with school commitments.
