Warehouse Storeperson

Pace Vic is proud to be partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturer based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs, currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their warehouse team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse environment where you'll be involved across all aspects of receivals, storage, picking, dispatch and inventory management.
 

About the role:

• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock and materials.
• Picking, packing and staging orders accurately for production and dispatch.
• Operating high reach forklifts to safely move and store pallets.
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Completing pallet movements and stock transfers between warehouse locations.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and completing stock movements within warehouse systems.
• Assisting with cycle counts, stocktakes and investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Ensuring stock is stored safely, accurately and in the correct locations.
• Preparing orders and materials to support production requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organisation.
• Working closely with warehouse, production and logistics teams to meet daily requirements.
• Following all food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures.

About you:

• Previous experience working as a Storeperson, Warehouse Operator or similar.
• Current LF Forklift Licence is essential.
• Confident and proven experience operating high reach forklifts.
• Strong experience across receivals, picking, packing, putaways and dispatch.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock control processes.
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced warehouse environment will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable completing both forklift and manual warehouse duties.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
• Reliable, motivated and committed to maintaining strong safety standards.
