About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced investigator or complaint management or dispute resolution professional to join the University's Student Policy and Integrity Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Student Policy and Integrity Services you will play a vital role in managing the assessment, investigation and resolution of complex student conduct cases, including cases involving behaviour misconduct, sexual misconduct, gender-based violence, harassment, discrimination and student safety.
Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team the position provides expert advice on the University's student misconduct framework and leads the investigation and resolution of sensitive and complex cases, ensuring processes are fair, trauma-informed, compliant and aligned with the University's standards and legislative obligations.

About You
You are an experienced investigator, complaint case management or dispute resolution professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to exercise sound judgement, and navigate complex and sensitive matters with objectivity, professionalism and care. You are a highly skilled communicator who can build trust, manage challenging conversations and deliver balanced, evidence-based outcomes in a fair and respectful manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ideal candidate will also hold relevant tertiary qualifications in law, social sciences, education, public administration or a related discipline, with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
About the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement
The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement is a vital central support service within the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students). It is responsible for provide technical, compliance, policy and project management expertise across a range of functions, including the University's curriculum governance, information and systems; academic quality assurance, enhancement, and compliance services; educational policy, academic integrity, and governance of student complaints, reviews, appeals and misconduct processes.
