About us
Our beautiful Education and Care Service is located in Shellharbour and is overseen by a Shellharbour Community Church Management Committee and an experienced Early Childhood Teacher Director. Our service operates from 7.00 am - 6:00pm catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and up to 66 children per day.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma
Successful Candidates will demonstrate these skills and values.
A commitment to providing Excellent Education and Care.
A collaborative team approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A passion and love for teaching and caring for children.
Hard working, Reliable and Strong Work Ethic.
A commitment to our local Community.
A Current Working With Children Check and a commitment to embedding Child Safe Standards.
Tasks & responsibilities
Able to be assertive and show initiative but also act on guidance and work according to organisational standards and expectations.
Able to effectively communicate with children, families, other staff and Sprouts Management.
Work well in a team and able to critically reflect and implement changes to improve.
Understand and model best practice and high standards.
Passionate and an advocate for play based learning, nature exploration and sustainability.
