As we continue our operations at Norton Goldfields, we are seeking experienced Miner / Underground Service Crew Operators to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected underground mining contractor focused on safety, operational excellence and developing high-performing teams.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting underground mining operations through the installation, maintenance and operation of essential underground infrastructure and services.

This hands-on role is suited to experienced underground miners who are safety-focused, reliable and committed to achieving production objectives while maintaining the highest workplace standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of underground mine services.

• Civil works associated with paste fill pipeline infrastructure from valve to stope.

• Installation and maintenance of primary and secondary ventilation systems.

• Construction and maintenance of vent doors, escapeways and pump stations.

• General underground service crew duties as required.

• Operation of underground integrated tool carriers (Cat and Volvo ITs) and light vehicles.

• Hand-held rock drilling using airleg equipment.

• Conduct workplace inspections and proactively identify hazards.

• Maintain compliance with site safety standards and operational procedures.

• Support production activities while contributing to a positive team culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working within an underground hard rock mining service crew.

• Experience with paste fill infrastructure installation and maintenance.

• Demonstrated experience in underground mine services installation and maintenance.

• Competent operation of underground mobile equipment, including integrated tool carriers.

• Airleg drilling experience.

• Strong understanding of underground mining safety requirements.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• A commitment to demonstrating Mancala's core values of Safety, People, Integrity, Innovation and Quality.

Essential Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Australian working rights.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and National Police Clearance.

• Ability to work a FIFO roster.
