Service Technician

The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent mechanical skills to repair and maintain plant and equipment in a workshop environment. The successful applicant will be required to utilise a range of trade skills to provide a customer focused service.  

Based in Ingleburn and reporting to the Branch Manager NSW & VIC, the responsibilities of this role are:

• Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment including lighting towers, generators, pumps and engines within a workshop environment

• Complete overhaul of mechanical equipment

• Diagnostic ability for diesel engines (we will train you if you have not had this direct experience before)

• Ability to process reports and paperwork

• Completion of customer work to high standards and within established timeframes

• Provide product technical support both internally and externally

• Connection and testing of pump equipment 

• Onsite commissioning and testing when required 

• Experience in aligning pump ends to drive system

What you must have

• High energy, tenacious attitude and a drive to succeed

• A minimum trade qualification as a mechanic and a current driver’s licence 

• Expertise in a related industry to ensure you meet our customers technical and commercial needs

• An ability to learn quickly, think on your feet and be flexible

• Discipline to manage your own time unsupervised

• Be comfortable using a computer including systems for reporting requirements 

• Be able to build relationships quickly and be customer focused in a service environment
