About The RoleReporting to the Manager, People Services, you'll play a key role supporting our Naoero, TSS and Corporate workforces through a combination of HR administration, compliance, pre-employment screening and onboarding, and other employee support activities.
This is a varied and hands-on role, where you'll work closely with leaders, employees and the broader People & Culture team to ensure a seamless employee experience. Supporting a FIFO workforce means compliance timelines, onboarding requirements and mandatory training deadlines are critical.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage pre-employment screening, probity check and onboarding
Monitor and maintain workforce compliance requirements, including AFP checks, licences, clearances, mandatory training and Blue Card requirements
Managed shared HR inboxes, responding to employee and manager enquiries
Prepare letters of offer, variation letters and employee correspondence
Coordinate mandatory training schedules and work closely with operational sites to ensure ongoing compliance is met
Produce compliance reports and follow up outstanding requirements
Coordinate uniform, equipment and other workforce administration requirements
Operate effectively in a largely manual environment, maintaining accuracy and service standards while supporting future system and process improvements
You are a proactive administrator who enjoys working in a structured environment and understands the importance of accuracy and follow-through.
You'll bring
1-2 years experience in a HR Administration, HR Coordinator or People Services environment.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of work.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate employee records and compliance documentation.
Experience coordinating pre-employment screening, probity and workforce compliance activities.
The ability to prioritise effectively and work to strict deadlines.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and leaders.
Confidence working across multiple systems, spreadsheets and databases.
