HC Truck Driver - Live Birds

Multiquip Poultry is a national company dedicated to supporting the poultry industry across Australia. Our services cover all aspects of transporting live birds from farms to processing plants, including the transportation of eggs, fully grown birds, feed, and grain.

We are currently seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our team based at our Loganholme QLD depot.

This is a full-time opportunity for drivers who are committed to safety and high standards of animal transport.

The Role:

• Start and end your day at our Loganholme depot

• Pick up is from farms within 1 to 3 hours' distance (furthest location: Warwick, QLD)

• Transporting of live birds from farms to processing plants

• Use an Electronic Work Diary (EWD)

• Conduct daily pre-start checks

• Shift start times range between the following times:

  • Night shifts: Can start from 6:00pm through to midnight (Staggered start times per truck)

  • Early Morning shifts: Can start from midnight through to 3:59am (Staggered start times per truck)

About You:

• Hold a valid HC licence with minimum 2 years of proven driving experience

• Experience with live bird or livestock transport is preferred

• Committed to animal welfare and safety compliance

• Strong punctuality and a customer-focused attitude

• Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules

• BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) certified or willing to obtain

• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical

• Able to provide a current driver’s licence printout
