OTR / Grab Truck Tyre Fitter

RIMEX is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of earthmover wheels, rims and associated products, supporting customers across the mining and heavy industry sectors.

With opportunities arising across our Queensland operations, we are looking for experienced and reliable OTR / Grab Truck Tyre Fitters to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working with large earthmoving and OTR tyres in a safety-focused environment.

Depending on your experience, the role may involve OTR tyre fitting and servicing, operating a grab truck, attending customer sites and supporting our Queensland operations as required.

You’ll be part of an experienced team where safety, reliability and getting the job done properly matter.

• Fit, remove, repair and service OTR and earthmoving tyres

• Operate tyre-fitting equipment and, where appropriately qualified, vehicle loading cranes

• Attend customer and mine sites as required

• Carry out work safely and in accordance with RIMEX, WHS and site procedures

• Complete jobs efficiently and maintain accurate job documentation

• Inspect and care for vehicles, tools and equipment

• Identify and report equipment, tyre and safety issues

• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors and other team members

• Assist the wider team as required

To be considered, you must have:

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or equivalent relevant qualification

• Current HR driver’s licence

• Full Australian working rights

• Strong commitment to workplace and site safety

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work in outdoor and site environments

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel for work as required

• Willingness to obtain RIIHAN307E – Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane, if not already held

Previous OTR, earthmoving or grab truck tyre-fitting experience will be highly regarded.
