Outage Planner

Randstad has been engaged for a Network Outage Planner role for a well known EPC organization. This is a full time permanent role in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Your Role & Key Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate works across electrical distribution networksSubmit applications and secure outages and access approvals for planned worksSchedule field crews and resources to meet project and client requirementsCoordinate multiple inputs to ensure projects are delivered on time and efficientlyLiaise with internal teams, subcontractors and network providersProvide guidance to field staff on client processes and requirementsEngage directly with customers to resolve issues and remove project barriersSupport field coordination activities as requiredMaintain high standards of safety, environmental and quality performanceComplete general administrative and planning support tasks
What you will needCertificate III in Electrical Distribution (desirable)Strong knowledge of outage planning and application processes (e.g. AusNet, United Energy, Jemena, Powercor, CitiPower)Experience coordinating works in electrical distribution or a similar environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and work inputs in a fast-paced settingStrong stakeholder engagement and customer service skillsGood understanding of electrical network construction and stakeholder requirementsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with access-based systems (e.g. Codex) and contract administration (desirable)
