Electrical Supervisor

Huon is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the installation, operation and maintenance of lighting and electrical infrastructure across our Marine Operations.

About the role:

With a strong focus on underwater lighting systems, this role combines hands-on electrical work with team leadership. You'll be responsible for coordinating maintenance and installation activities, troubleshooting faults, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring our electrical assets remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose. You'll also lead a small team, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to planning, continuous improvement initiatives and project work across the Electrical and Lighting function.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A trade qualification as an Electrician (A Grade Electrical Licence preferred).
• A current driver's licence.
• Experience working with lighting and electrical systems in a marine, industrial or similar operational environment.
• Experience leading or supervising teams and the ability to provide clear direction, support and guidance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate competing work demands.
• Well-developed communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Coxswain or other marine-related licences.
• Current First Aid certification.
