MCM Logistics is an Australian-based 3PL provider delivering end-to-end warehousing, transport, and distribution solutions for clients across a range of industries.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves a mix of administration and day-to-day operations, working closely with the MCM team, drivers, transport providers, and occasionally liaising directly with customers.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is well organized, reliable, comfortable with technology, and enjoys working in a busy team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily deliveries and shipments between warehouses, customers, and transport providers

• Speak with transport companies and 3PL partners to book, confirm, and track deliveries

• Check and process shipping documents such as manifests, proof of delivery, and purchase orders

• Check stock levels and help the warehouse team fix any stock issues

• Organize bookings and schedules for incoming and outgoing goods

• Keep an eye out for delays or problems and raise them early so they can be fixed quickly

• Prepare simple reports and track delivery and service performance

• Look for ways to make logistics processes easier, faster, and more cost-effective

• Work closely with the warehouse team to manage pick, pack, and dispatch priorities

• Help with picking and packing in the warehouse as required

About you

• At least 1 year experience in logistics, 3PL, freight, transport, or warehouse operations or similar

• Good understanding of warehouse, transport, and logistics processes

• Very comfortable with IT and technology and able to learn new systems quickly

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills

• A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to solve problems before they become bigger issues

• Warehouse experience is an advantage

• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Transport Management System (TMS) is an advantage

• Forklift license (LF) is an advantage but not essential
