About the role
Storeman – All Rounder
(Construction)
Bravada is now one of the largest waterproofing contractors in the Victorian building & construction industry and our business continues to grow rapidly.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the required experience and skillsets to join our back of house team in supporting field operations teams engaged across some of the largest commercial and civil infrastructure projects in VIC for tier # 1 construction companies and various consortiums.
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and team orientated Storeman to assume responsibility for warehouse, products and plant & equipment fleet in supporting our operations teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish without delays, whereby they are delivered to clients on time and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
o Inventory control & management (warehouse & work sites)
o Warehouse maintenance – space optimisation & OH&S compliance
o Order, receive and unload products to warehouse
o Facilitate delivery and delivery confirmation of products direct to work sites.
o Facilitate procurement of services and plant & equipment items required for work sites.
o Ongoing consultation with Project Managers & Supervisors re onsite project requirements.
o Plant & equipment management, tracking & maintenance.
o Deliver products and P & E to work sites as required.
o Adhere to policy / procedural requirements in support of Company’s ISO accreditations.
What we’re looking for in Applicants:
Ø Minimum 3 years relevant experience in similar role
Ø Knowledge of OH&S and quality assurance processes for warehousing
Ø Current Drivers’ Licence & Forklift Licence
Ø Australian citizenship (required for Govt asset projects)
Ø Be highly organised and have an uncompromising attention to detail.
Ø Advance capability with Microsoft Office suite & mainstream Apps and business systems.
Ø Have a can do attitude & be a cohesive team player.
About the position:
§ Permanent position (subject to probationary period)
§ Flexible days / hours available for the right candidate
§ Competitive remuneration package of $60,000 to $70,000 plus Super
§ Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne
