Property Analyst

About our Client
Our client is a privately owned WA property developer experiencing significant growth across its development portfolio.

Operating within a specialised residential sector, the business has an established pipeline of masterplanned communities at various stages of planning, delivery and operation.

Why this role stands out
This isn't an Analyst position where your involvement ends once the model is updated. You'll work across development feasibility, acquisitions, project performance and broader corporate finance, with the opportunity to understand how the numbers influence real development decisions.

The Opportunity
Working within the development team, you'll provide the commercial analysis behind investment and development decisions across the portfolio.

You'll build and interrogate feasibility models, assess project performance and help translate complex data into clear commercial information for senior leadership.

The role also extends into acquisitions and corporate finance, providing broader exposure than a traditional project analyst position.

Development Analysis

• Maintain and interrogate development feasibility models
• Analyse project performance, cash flow and key commercial metrics
• Support budgeting and ongoing financial assessment

Acquisitions & Due Diligence

• Assist with the assessment of potential development opportunities
• Undertake commercial analysis and due diligence
• Support recommendations around prospective acquisitions

Commercial Insights

• Turn detailed financial information into clear, meaningful insights
• Prepare reporting for senior leadership
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities within project performance

Business Integration

• Work closely across development, finance and sales functions
• Improve the flow and accuracy of project information across systems
• Support broader commercial and corporate finance activities

About You
You will already have strong analytical foundations gained within property development, funds management, valuations, property advisory or a closely aligned environment.

You'll ideally bring:

• Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
• Exposure to development feasibility modelling
• EstateMaster experience or comparable development modelling capability
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Commercial curiosity beyond simply producing reports
• Confidence communicating your analysis to different stakeholders

Most importantly, you'll be ambitious. This role is designed for someone who wants to understand why a development decision is being made, not simply calculate the numbers behind it.
