Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining mechanical operations for the production team at TQM. The position is vital to ensure maximum production uptime by performing preventative, reactive and planned maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend and address breakdown maintenance tasks during production
• Work alongside production team to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain mechanical operations for production by delivering hands-on maintenance, fitting and machining, welding, troubleshooting, repairs and breakdown support.
• Work on project and plant upgrades as planned from time to time

Skills, Qualifications and experience:

• Mechanical or engineering trade qualification required
• Forklift licence desired
• Medical and functional assessment required
• Experience in the following skillsets highly desired: Fitting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, forklift.

The person chosen for this role must have the ability to work in a varied role, as part of a team or individually, have high work standards and take pride in their work performed. It is an important position that plays a crucial role in the maintenance team and the business overall.
