Rock on Ground (ROG) is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced and motivated Blast Hole Drillers to join our growing team.

About the Role:

As a Blast Hole Driller, you will play a key role in safely and efficiently delivering production drilling activities while maintaining high operational and safety standards.

This role is offered on a FIFO roster with Perth as the point of hire.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience operating Sandvik DP1500i drills

• Demonstrated blast hole drilling experience within open pit mining

• Experience operating Top Hammer (TH) drill rigs

• Strong understanding of drilling patterns, hole depths and consumable selection

• Ability to accurately complete, daily drill logs, hole log sheets, pre-start inspections

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance and quality standards

• Ability to identify and report, ground conditions, hazards & equipment defects and faults

• Ability to work both independently and within a close-knit production team

• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in minor servicing and maintenance

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

• National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening

• Full Australian working rights
