About the role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced electrician in the building maintenance field, to work on commercial based city contracts.
Scope and responsibilities of position available:
- Commercial and industrial building maintenance
- Compliance testing (E&E testing, tagging and so on)
- Data cabling repairs and installations
- Lighting upgrades
- Training of apprentices
- Working with management to ensure day to day tasks are completed
To be considered for this position the characteristics you require are:
- Ability to follow procedures and compliance testing
- Knowledge of auditing procedures
- Electrical construction experience
- Data cabling installation and repairs experience
- High level of enthusiasm
- A strong service ethic towards building tenants and clients
- Flexibility in attitude towards any job required
- Professional personal presentation at all times
- Strong communication skills
Requirements:
- Electrical Trade Certificate and current electrical licence for VIC
- Current drivers licence
- Ability to pass a police check
- Current construction industry RED card
- Strong understanding of OHS
Conditions:
- 38 hour week
- vehicle provided (or allowance if preferrable)
- uniform provided
