Service Technician

Landpower Southern is looking for a qualified mechanic to join our Colac workshop team.

This practical and varied position involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of agricultural machinery and equipment. Work will be completed both in the workshop and on farms throughout the surrounding region.

Your responsibilities

As a member of the Landpower Southern service team, you will:

• Diagnose faults and service and repair various types of farm machinery

• Perform scheduled maintenance and general workshop repairs

• Respond to on-farm service requests and equipment breakdowns

• Maintain accurate records of completed work, parts used and service details

• Collaborate with the workshop, parts and service departments

• Deliver dependable and professional service to customers

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A relevant mechanical trade qualification

• Previous experience with agricultural equipment, diesel machinery or heavy machinery

• Sound diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• A current Australian driver’s licence

• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

• A practical approach and strong commitment to workplace safety
