About the role
The Role
We’re looking for a confident, people‑centred HR Generalist to partner with leaders and employees across our Supply Chain & Operations teams. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to person for all things people and culture, providing practical HR advice, driving core HR programs, and shaping a safe, respectful and high‑performing workplace.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll work across the full employee lifecycle, support ER matters, champion capability and culture initiatives, and play a key role in organisational change and continuous improvement.
If you thrive in a fast‑paced operational environment, enjoy building trusted relationships, and want to broaden your impact as a true HR all‑rounder, this role is for you.
Joining us on a 6‑month contract, you’ll have every chance to extend your time here if you’re the right match.
We’re open to applications from Working Holiday Visa holders who can commit to full‑time work for the full contract term.
This is an onsite role based at Rowland Flat.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with people managers, employees, the Senior HR Manager, the broader People & Communications team, and Health, Safety & Sustainability, as well as unions, external advisors and regulators, as well as:
Deliver timely, practical HR advice across recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, wellbeing and exits.
Act as the first point of contact for employee and industrial relations matters, managing routine to moderately complex cases.
Support interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and company policies.
Partner with leaders on performance management, improvement plans and disciplinary processes.
Assist with grievances, investigations, ER documentation and liaison with unions and external advisors.
Support annual performance cycles, capability initiatives and manager development.
Contribute to organisational change, restructures and workforce planning projects.
Maintain strong HR governance, documentation and continuous improvement practices.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
Strong relationship‑building skills and a collaborative, service‑focused approach.
Sound judgement, professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Solid understanding of contemporary HR and ER practices, including Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites and vineyards.
Why This Role Matters
This is your chance to step into a role where your work genuinely shapes the employee experience. You’ll broaden your HR capability, deepen your ER exposure, and contribute to a culture built on integrity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
If you’re ready to grow your HR career and make a meaningful impact across a diverse operational workforce, we’d love to hear from you. Step into a trusted generalist role and help us build a workplace where people feel supported, respected and empowered.
