The Opportunity

Our Personal Tax team look after a significant client base and are looking for a senior accountant to join their team. The client base is diverse, with challenges working with many high-net-worth individuals.  

This is an opportunity to progress your career through increased client contact and access to professional development opportunities within our firm. The successful applicant will work closely with the Personal Tax Team to provide high level support in regards to managing the operations of the team.

The key areas of responsibility include:

• Working closely with individual clients, with the view to improve their overall position;

• Build solid working relationships with new clients and internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The perfect person for this role will have the following skills and attributes:

• 2 + years’ experience with an accounting firm;

• Can commit to a minimum of 30hrs/week;

• Previously had exposure to a broad range of tax matters relating specifically to individuals;

• Have the natural ability and desire to meet clients in order to build solid working relationships with them;

• Be able to identify the needs of clients with the view to improving their overall financial position; and

• Have broad knowledge on a range of tax matters relating specifically to individuals;

• Experience in training and mentoring accountants;

• Desire to build on an already strong client base; and

• Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
