About the role
LMP Project Services is seeking experienced WTP/STP WTP/STP Operator (Water Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant) Operators to join our team in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), ensuring water and wastewater systems meet operational, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll be doing
Operate and monitor water treatment and sewage treatment plant processes.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, sampling, and analysis of water and wastewater systems.
Monitor plant equipment and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and report operational issues, faults, or equipment defects.
Perform minor maintenance, housekeeping, and plant servicing activities.
Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and compliance documentation.
Ensure environmental, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and subcontractors.
What we're looking for
Certificate III or IV in Water Operations (minimum)
QLD Drivers Licence
Standard 11
Coal Board Medical
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Strong focus on safety and compliance.
