Customer Care Team Member - Casual

About the role

As a Customer Care Team Member, your work will directly support patient safety, comfort and care. This is a hands-on, practical role where you'll spend part of your day on the road, but mostly in a healthcare environment, delivering, collecting, and supporting the setup of critical medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Driving a company vehicle to deliver and collect medical equipment from hospitals and aged care facilities across Melbourne and regional Victoria

• Setting up equipment where required, sometimes right at a patient's bedside

• Building strong, respectful relationships with nurses, ward clerks and healthcare teams

• Ensuring all deliveries are documented using a tablet and simple paperwork

• Following safe manual handling and OH&S procedures when loading and unloading equipment

• Maintaining a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality and care in every interaction

About you

• Confident driving a larger vehicle and navigating around Melbourne (Full Victorian driver's licence essential)

• Physically fit and happy to be on your feet, repetitive lifting, pushing and moving equipment throughout your shift

• Positive, respectful attitude when dealing with healthcare staff, patients and colleagues

• Can work independently, think on your feet and adapt to changing priorities

• Confident using a tablet or mobile device for delivery tracking

• Full working rights in Australia

• Clean driving record

• Current or willingness to obtain Police Check and Working With Children Check

• Up-to-date annual flu vaccinations (mandatory for work in healthcare settings)

• Availability to work weekday shifts (Between Monday and Friday) with flexibility to work a variety of shift lengths and start/finish times as required
