Your Role in Shaping the Huon Valley
As the Technical Officer - Works you will:
Develop and maintain works schedules for reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance activities
Analyse asset condition data and develop GIS-based maps and reports to support works programming and decision making
Coordinate between field and office teams, Administration Services, and Technical Services on scheduling and maintenance planning
Manage customer service requests and complaints through Council's Customer Request Management system
What You'll Bring
The successful applicant will have the following:
Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant practical experience in civil construction, engineering, project management, or GIS
Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling, works programming, or asset management within a civil infrastructure or local government environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across field and office teams and resolve scheduling conflicts
High level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within set timeframes
