Our Guest Services team are our frontline Daymakers and the first point of contact for our guests, providing support across the resort through helpful information, product assistance and exceptional customer service. They enhance the guest journey both in the village and on the mountain, offering guidance at lifts, creating memorable experiences and delivering expert adventures for those wanting to explore beyond the resort into Kosciuszko National Park.
As the Outdoor Host Supervisor, you are primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of Outdoor Hosts during the shift that you are engaged in. During winter you will work within a team of supervisors to prioritise workload, monitor progress and offer support to ensure the outdoor hosts maintain a high standard of customer service. You will be required to manage guest issues and complaints in a timely manner and follow through to a resolution.
About the Role
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by resolving issues, sharing resort knowledge, and ensuring high service standards.
Support staff training through plans, manuals, with a hands-on delivery to maintain skill levels and high quality of service
Supervise, support, and guide outdoor hosts, deliver lead daily briefs, monitor performance, and promote a positive team culture.
Oversee day-to-day outdoor operations, manage crowds, and uphold all safety and emergency procedures.
Skills & Experience
Previous Experience in a tourism-based customer service role
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of guests.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Positive, professional and proactive approach to guest interactions.
Comfortable working in a dynamic outdoor environment where priorities can change quickly.
Previous experience and/ or appropriate level of training in supervising others
