We are looking for a Sample Registration Officer I in 3 Lennon Street, West Melbourne, Victoria 3003 AUS. Your mission will be to:
Sample Registration Officer Level I
Location: West Melbourne
About the role:
MNAQ are seeking to appoint a Sample Registration Officers
in our Sample Registration department who will be directly responsible for
communicating with external and internal stakeholders, logistics, and
registration of various types of samples such as Routine Quality Assurance, Quarantine,
AQIS Imported Foods and Shelf Life samples.
Responsibilities:
· Sorting and prioritising samples that are to be
pre-registered or manually registered
· Receive and label samples
· Directing samples to the correct laboratories
· Communicate with internal and external clients about basic
queries
· Work closely within a Team Environment as well as working
autonomously.
· General Housekeeping duties.
· Maintain a safe working environment
· Assign appropriate tests for the particular sample matrix
· Problem solving such as missing sample submission forms
· Working to strict deadlines
· Ensure all work practices within the area are performed to
the relevant standards and procedures
· Refer to and interpret guidelines and regulatory
requirements such as AQIS and IFIP
Requirements:
· Ability to prioritise work in order to meet daily
deadlines
· Clear written and verbal communication skills
· Capacity to work effectively as part of a team or
autonomously
· Committed to achieving the highest level of service
· Continuous improvement focused
· Adheres to all company policies & procedures
· Professional and diligent
· Able to develop relationships with internal and external
stakeholders
· Focus, driven and the capacity to take ownership of
targets/objectives
· Desirable but not essential – Diploma or Degree in Science
or related discipline.
· Desirable but not essential - Hands on experience in a
laboratory environment
YOUR PROFILE
University or Cert III or IV qualification recommended but not required.
