CARAVAN PARK MANAGER COUPLE - Acclaim Parks (Perth)

About the role

Opportunity for a capable hands-on couple to manage mixed tourist/long-stay caravan park in Perth, Western Australia. The successful applicants will have experience in the accommodation industry and be computer-literate. You will take on responsibility for the maintenance and smooth functioning of the park, manage people and build a strong support team, and provide excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and lead your team by example

• Maintain the park with competent handyperson skills

• Background in bores, pumps, and irrigation an advantage

• Understand and maintain and improve the park infrastructure and systems

• Ability to troubleshoot effectively when the unexpected happens

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests

• Maintain the grounds with help from the grounds persons

• Ensure high standards of accommodation, facilities and cleanliness

• Manage reservations efficiently and complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting through RMS

• Understand and comply with legislation and safety and health requirements

About you

• Experience in the accommodation industry

• Computer-literate

• Competent handyperson skills

• A background in bores, pumps and irrigation (highly regarded)

• Hands-on approach and flexible attitude with regard to work hours

• Financial and business common sense

• Troubleshooter

• Recent Federal Police Clearance required for both managers

• Valid driver's license required for both managers
