Practice Nurse-Part TIme

About the role

Doctors of Coburg North is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and professional team on a Permanent Part-Time basis. We are a busy, fully accredited bulk-billing general practice providing comprehensive healthcare services to our local community. Our clinic operates 7 days per week from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management activities

• Assisting with GP Management Plans (GPMPs) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs)

• Patient education, recalls, and preventative health initiatives

• Childhood, Adult, and Travel Vaccinations

• Wound Care and Dressings

• Assisting GPs with procedures and treatment room management

• ECGs, Spirometry, and other clinical nursing duties

• Infection control and cold chain management

• Monitoring and maintaining medical stock and supplies

• Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and patient records

About you

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)

• Previous experience working in an Australian General Practice

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Current CPR Certificate

• High level of organisational and time management skills

• Experience using Best Practice Software

• Desirable: Nurse Immuniser Certification

• Desirable: Experience with Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments

• Desirable: Experience with Childhood and Adult Immunisations
