Are you an experienced ICT Support professional looking for your next Federal Government opportunity?
We’re seeking an experienced Service Desk Officer to join a Federal Government department and provide high-quality ICT support to users.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on ICT support, troubleshooting, customer service and ICT project delivery within a government environment.
What You'll Be DoingProvide frontline ICT support across hardware, software, network, account and device issuesTriage, resolve and escalate incidents and service requests within agreed SLAsAdminister user accounts, devices, software and ICT asset recordsSupport ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activitiesLiaise with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providersProvide hands-on support and maintenance of user and building ICT hardwareIdentify recurring issues and contribute to ICT service and process improvements
To be successful, you will have:Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance – essentialStrong troubleshooting experience across Microsoft on-premises and cloud environmentsExcellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsExperience supporting ICT projects and operational activitiesUnderstanding of ICT security, governance and compliance requirementsActive Directory – on-premises and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra IDUnderstanding of ITIL principles
