Document Controller

Summary:

After over 30 years Mount Morgan Mine is nearly restored to be returning to the rattle and hum of operations. Over $200M has been spent building a brand new processing facility to win the precious minerals mined in years gone by.

We are seeking Document Controller to ensure the ‘as built’ drawings of Building & Construction are maintained and to support and ensure all project and operational documentation is accurately managed and maintained.

Based in Mount Morgan <40km to Rockhampton, Queensland, this permanent full-time position is essential for supporting project operational teams remaining compliant to best doc control practice and with industry standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of operational delivery through meticulous document control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and living documents.
• Ensure that all documents are correctly filed and easily retrievable for project teams.
• Maintain and champion document control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with Managers and relevant engineers & KSH to ensure timely distribution of documents.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project meetings.
• Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.
• Support the training dept (HSE) to maintain currency of respective records in relevant system(s) (INX Intuition and other relevant data warehouses)

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in document control or administration within the Building & Construction and/or Mining industry.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience to support and deliver training and awareness toward Document Control Standards being maintained by all personnel
