About the role

As a Solar Installer / Trade Assistant / Roofer at MDB Electrical Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar panel & battery systems across Adelaide, SA. What you'll be doing

1. Assist experienced solar installers with the safe and efficient installation of residential and commercial solar panel & battery systems

2. Perform general trade tasks such as drilling, lifting, and transporting equipment

3. Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar panel systems

4. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards

5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment

6. Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation and maintenance process

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a solar installer or trade assistant, or a willingness to learn the required skills

2. Strong practical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail

3. Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

4. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

5. A keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability

6. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

7. A valid white card and working at heights
