HC Truck Driver

About the role

Based from our Wacol depot, you will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and collections across the Brisbane metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities

• Driving HC combinations safely and professionally

• Completing issues and dehires of empty pallets

• Following allocated schedules and communicating with our operations team

• Completing electronic paperwork and proof of deliveries

• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting vehicle defects

• Complying with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and company safety requirements

• Representing JATEC professionally at customer sites

About you

• A current HC or MC licence

• A good driving record

• Experience operating heavy vehicles in metropolitan areas

• A strong understanding of fatigue management and road transport safety

• Good communication skills

• Reliability and a positive attitude

• The ability to work independently while being part of a team
