We're a party store — every day we're helping people celebrate birthdays, engagements, footy finals and everything in between. So while we're serious about running a great business, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're looking for someone with big energy, a big smile, and the leadership chops to match.

The gig:

You'll run the show day-to-day — driving sales, leading and hyping up the team, keeping the store looking fabulous, and making sure every customer leaves with exactly what they need for their next big celebration. You'll report straight to the owner, with real autonomy to run things your way.

You'll also help us level up behind the scenes — bringing in new systems and smarter ways of working so the business runs smoother and keeps growing, including upgrading how we handle stock and point-of-sale, and helping build out our online shop alongside our bricks-and-mortar store.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Leading, coaching and bringing the energy for a team of 4–8 staff
• Owning the store's sales targets and driving performance against budget
• Managing stock control, ordering and merchandising (yes, that includes a LOT of balloons)
• Helping implement and improve systems — POS, inventory, and our online sales channel — to help the business grow
• Handling day-to-day operations, banking and reporting
• Building relationships with regular customers and knowing our range inside out
• Creating a store vibe that has customers and staff both wanting to come back

Who we're after:

• Retail experience (Store Manager or Assistant Manager level) — we're open to the right person at either stage
• A track record of hitting or beating sales targets
• Fun, bubbly, and genuinely good with people — you'll set the tone for the whole store
• Strong leadership — someone who can motivate a team and bring out their best
• Comfortable with (or keen to learn) new systems and tools — POS, inventory, or e-commerce
• Someone who takes ownership of the store like it's their own party to run
