WHS Assistant (Junior Role)

We are now seeking a motivated WHS Assistant to join our Silverwater-based team on a full-time basis. This junior role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in Workplace Health & Safety while working alongside an experienced WHS Manager. 

Full job description

In this role, you will:

• Support and become a important part of the WHS Team in overseeing day-to-day safety operations.

• Assist with site compliance checks and audits.

• Conduct equipment and gear audits to ensure operational safety.

Manage WHS administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

• Liaise directly with both B2B clients (including C-suite stakeholders) and blue-collar team members on safety requirements.

• Deliver safety training and contribute to tailored safety solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A current Driver’s Licence (manual driving experience desirable).

• White Card (General Construction Induction).

• Certificate IV in WHS (completed or currently working towards).

• Practical construction experience (ideal).

• Working at Heights qualification (advantageous).

• A solid understanding of the WHS Act and Regulations.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel.

• Experience on provide Client Service.
