About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Head of Performance Music to lead the ongoing development, strategic direction and delivery of Instrumental Music and Voice at Sheldon College.
Commencing in 2027, this is a key leadership role within the Faculty of The Arts, responsible for the creative vision, strategic direction and day-to-day operation of the College's broad Performance Music program. The successful applicant will lead a contemporary and innovative program with a strong focus on quality performance, student development and continuous improvement.
The Performance Music program spans the full range of instruments and includes the compulsory Year 3 String and Year 4 Band Programs, individual and group tuition, and a broad range of bands and ensembles performing across internal and external events.
Working closely with the Director of The Arts and other College leaders, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Performance Music program, including staff development, ensemble offerings, events, resource management, risk management and community engagement.
