We are in partnership with our customer Woolworths, to supply Woolworths Supermarkets with packaged and value-added meat/poultry/seafood products. 

About the role 
The Technical Coordinator supports the coordination and maintenance of product technical information to help ensure Hilton Foods products meet customer, regulatory and business requirements.

Working as part of the Technical Assurance team, the role coordinates and maintains customer specifications, product technical data, quality platforms and supports documentation, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and appropriately maintained. The role works collaboratively with Quality, NPD, Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams, under guidance, to coordinate technical information and documentation for new product development, product changes and continuous improvement activities. This is a fixed term contract position until June 30th 2027 with the view to permanent.

• Support specification approvals by coordinating information, tracking progress and following up with internal stakeholders and customers as required.
• Supporting the management of product specifications (inclusive of raw materials and packaging)
• Maintaining specification version control and document history.
• Ensuring specification updates are completed within agreed customer timeframes.
• Coordinating other projects (as required)
• Coordinating and supporting technical product information, and other technical documentation.

About you

• Food Science or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 12+ months experience in a similar role
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
