Production Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our team in Melville, you’ll be responsible for managing staff and workflow on the floor, ensuring timeframes are met and maintaining a high level of customer service. The role requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with all members of the team in order to meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule, forecast and allocate work to team members
• Ensuring quality repair process meeting productivity targets and customer expectations
• Coach and develop team to improve capability productivity
• Accurate and timely quotation of damaged vehicles
• Managing ordering and receiving of parts to ensure cost effectiveness

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience within a similar role/s in the automotive industry
• Attention to detail, with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a busy workshop and achieve service outcomes
• Strong computer system skills and previous experience in ibody, Parts Check or Audanet (ideal)
• Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety practices.
• Appropriate Australian Working Rights.
