Medical receptionist - Gordonvale

Gordonvale Family Medical Centre is an established family owned general practice servicing Gordonvale and surrounds. We’re an easy drive from Cairns and surrounding suburbs against the flow of traffic. We have a hardworking team of GPs, nurses and excellent administration support. We can offer the applicant a casual role with an experienced team that are dedicated to supporting the health needs of our community.

This is initially as a casual position as a medical receptionist to assist with leave cover for existing staff.

Duties include:

• All aspects of  medical reception work including providing exceptional customer service and care to patients.

• Working with a passionate clinical and management team that is always improving the way healthcare is delivered

Unflappable when things get busy (and it is often busy!)

Applicants are to be warm, caring and empathetic with patients, fellow nurses and administration

We desire an individual who can work independently and as a team member

Consistent demonstration of a professional attitude

Prior experience working in a general practice is highly desirable given it is mostly for leave coverage

Enthusiastic about their profession and consistently brings positivity to work
