Position: Club Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be the welcoming face of Universal Fitness — partnering with members, driving new sales acquisitions and ensuring every visit delivers exceptional service.

You will be a driven, energetic and commercially minded Club Manager to lead from the front. This hands‑on role suits a leader who thrives on the floor, builds strong team culture and takes full ownership of club performance. You’ll oversee membership growth, retention, team development and daily operations, creating a positive, community‑focused environment where every member feels supported, valued and inspired.

What you will be doing

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team, set clear targets, run effective check‑ins, and ensure daily operations and presentation standards are consistently met.

Member Experience & Retention

Create an exceptional member experience, build strong relationships, act quickly on feedback, and proactively manage retention to keep members engaged and loyal.

New Member Acquisition

Drive local marketing, community partnerships and club activations to generate leads, boost conversions and grow the membership base.

Commercial Business Acumen

Own club performance by monitoring KPIs, managing expenses, achieving sales and NMM targets, and identifying opportunities to improve commercial results.

About You

• Proven leadership experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality or other membership‑based environments.
• Strong sales capability with a track record of hitting targets and driving growth.
• Skilled at coaching teams, building culture and creating energy on the floor.
• Solid understanding of KPIs, budgets and club performance drivers.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional member experience.
