About the Role

This exciting “newly re-engineered” role & opportunity exists at Australia’s largest small stock processing plant located in Tamworth, Australia’s country music capital & the heart of the New England.  Where you'll work with a diverse team who align with our values & are passionate and empowered to perform at pace & achieve big things.

This all-important role of Procurement & Facilities Inventory Controller is point of contact for maintenance administration activities including purchase orders, store stock control and inventory management to assist in the reliability & performance of engineering systems, equipment, and processes. 

What's On Offer!

• 75 - 85k + 11.5% super    

• Lifestyle Day Shift Roster - Monday to Friday 

The Quality Ingredients for Success 

Just like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities that we need and look for in this role:

Purchasing & Stock Control: 

• Maintain stock & spare parts levels through usages, seasonal spikes, ensure stock is availability. 

• Receiving, warehousing & distribution operations initiating, coordinating as per operational procedures.

• Controls inventory levels, reconciling with data storage system, conduct system checks for accurate data. Stock control setting up Min / Max - barcoding &cataloguing. 

Maintenance Support: 

• Picking of spare parts; Raise Purchase orders for suppliers or contractors to complete

• Enter data in CMMS upon completion of Work Orders eg. parts used, Parts returned & booked 

• Liaise with Maintenance regarding parts & supply requirements & maintain supplier relations, meetings with supplier for new products, pricing & supply.

Experience & Qualifications

• Driver's license

• 3-5yrs experience in similar role within Engineering
