The Role

We are seeking qualified and experienced Pipefitters to join our growing team for immediate work at our new workshop in Wattleup. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication projects in a well-equipped workshop environment, with consistent hours and the potential for ongoing work and overtime.

• Casual Role
• Immediate Start
• 10 Hour Days
• Monday – Friday – Be home every night
• Opportunity of overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Measuring, marking, cutting, beveling, and preparing pipes using hand and power tools.
• Fabricating pipe spools and assemblies to precise dimensions.
• Fitting and aligning pipes, valves, flanges, and fittings before welding.
• Performing tack welding if qualified or working closely with welders.
• Using equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, grinders, hydraulic benders, and lifting equipment.
• Checking dimensions and quality to ensure assemblies meet project specifications and tolerances.
• Maintaining a safe and organized workshop and following workplace health and safety procedures.

The successful applicant will have: 

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate or Certificate 3 in Pipefitting
• Working Safely at Heights (Completed within 2 years)
• Confined Space Entry (Completed within 2 years)
• High Risk Work Licence (WP desirable)
• Hold a valid driving license
• OHS Construction Induction Card (Desirable)
• Pass a pre-employment medical
• Previous experience in a similar role
