Boilermaker / Fabricator – Heavy Equipment & Custom Builds

We are looking for a capable Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our workshop in the Toowoomba region.

The work is varied and hands-on, covering agricultural machinery, drilling equipment, trucks, trailers, machinery, repairs, modifications and custom fabrication.

This is not repetitive production welding. We are looking for someone who can look at a job, understand what needs to be achieved, work through the best way to do it and produce a high standard of work.

You will work alongside an experienced boilermaker in a well-equipped workshop with a strong ongoing workload.

The work includes

• Heavy fabrication and welding

• Drilling rig and machinery repairs and modifications

• Truck and trailer fabrication

• Custom frames, brackets, skids and one-off builds

• Repair and reinforcement of heavy equipment

• Working from drawings, measurements and practical concepts

• MIG and stick welding

• Cutting, grinding, drilling and general fabrication

• Occasional field work where required

What we are looking for

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator

• Strong fabrication and welding skills

• Able to work independently

• Practical problem-solving ability

• Reliable and easy to work with

• High standard of workmanship

• Current driver's licence

Experience with heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, mining, drilling or agricultural machinery would be highly regarded.

We are more interested in finding the right tradesman than someone who ticks every box.
