Retail Sales Assistant – Clark Rubber, Enfield SA

Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its Foam, Rubber and Pool categories. A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced retail assistant or someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn and to join the Clark Rubber Enfield team. We're looking for an outgoing and knowledgeable individual who is focused and motivated with a strong background in retail sales on a Casual or Part time basis.

Some of the key responsibilities for Retail Assistant include:

• Providing excellent customer service

• Giving advice and solutions to customers

• Processing sales orders and quotes

• Work in a team environment to help achieve business objectives

• Stocking shelves with merchandise and general housekeeping

• Set up in-store promotions and merchandising

• Be involved in stock control and management

• Receiving, managing and ticketing large amounts of stock

• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.

• Dealing with customer refunds

• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the management team

• Water Testing

• Be able to do some heave lifting when required 

To be considered for this role applicants need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Effective time management skills

• A passion and drive for Customer Service

• High level of verbal and written communication skills

• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality

• Work in a fast paced team environment

• Proficient computer skills

• Commercial/Trade industry experience PREFFERED but not essential

• Able to work weekends ESSENTIAL

• Uni students encouraged to apply. Prior retail experience preferable but not essential as full training will be provided

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work in a team environment when required

• Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English

• Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers

• Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge.
