Marketing and Events Manager

Lead our marketing and events strategy

Mount Annan Christian College is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing and Events Manager to lead our marketing function and provide strategic oversight of the College's events program.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional who can combine strategic thinking, creativity, project management and effective team leadership to support the College’s growth and strengthen engagement with our community.

Working closely with the Executive team and key stakeholders across the College, you will develop and implement marketing strategies that strengthen the College's profile, engage our community and support the College's strategic priorities.

You will also provide leadership and direction to the College's events function, ensuring our major events are strategically aligned, well planned and delivered to a consistently high standard.

As the Marketing and Events Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the College's strategic marketing plan, using market insights, trends and data to strengthen the College's profile and identify opportunities.
• Leading marketing campaigns and activities, monitoring their effectiveness and adapting strategies to maximise impact and engagement.
• Managing the marketing budget and resources, ensuring expenditure is appropriately monitored and priorities are effectively managed.
• Providing strategic oversight of the College's events function, including the annual events calendar and the planning and delivery of major College events.
• Leading and supporting the marketing and events team, providing direction, managing workloads and fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Establishing effective processes and evaluating marketing and events outcomes to ensure consistent delivery, alignment with the College's brand and priorities, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution and people leadership.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a strong Christian faith and active involvement in their local church.
• Have relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related discipline.
• Have strong strategic marketing, planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, budgets and deadlines.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrate experience leading, supporting or developing a team, with a collaborative, proactive and positive leadership style.
• Be creative, solutions-focused and confident using technology, marketing systems and relevant project management platforms.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for students, parents, guardians and staff.
