We have grown from a much-loved local café into one of Melbourne’s most recognised hospitality venues, but the heart of The Pantry has never changed. It is our people who make guests feel welcome, looked after, and part of something special.

We are now looking for an experienced and energetic Wait Staff member to join our Front of House team. If you love hospitality, enjoy a busy service, and take pride in making someone’s day that little bit better, we would love to meet you.

About the Role

As part of our Front of House team, you will help create a great experience from the moment a guest walks in until the moment they leave.

This is a hands-on role for someone who brings energy, care, attention to detail, and a calm head when service gets busy. You will be part of a team that backs each other, communicates well, and works hard to make every guest feel looked after.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 12 months’ experience as a waiter or waitress in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
• Genuinely enjoys hospitality and getting the little details right.
• Communicates clearly and warmly with guests and team members.
• Brings a positive, friendly, and professional approach to every shift.
• Stays calm and focused during busy service.
• Is reliable, energetic, and ready for a fast-paced, high-standard venue.
• Presents professionally.
• Has full working rights in Australia.

Availability

• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster.
• Availability between approximately 6:30am and 4:00pm.
• Weekend and public holiday work is essential.
• Immediate start available.

Pay: $26.44 – $33.85 per hour
