Cafe Assistant

ParaQuad Industries is the Australian Disability Enterprise division of Alinea Inc. We provide meaningful employment for approximately 150 Western Australians with disabilities. 

Alinea, a Western Australian Charity (formerly known as the Spine and Limb Foundation) is dedicated to supporting elderly individuals and people with disabilities in the Western Australian community.  Alinea’s operations include a wide range of services in Aged Care & Retirement Living, Supported Employment, Home Care Support and Recreation Services.  All of the services and programs are designed to cater for the individual needs of our clients. Our dynamic approach to both aged care and disability has ensured that we continue to provide sustainable services to those who need them most

 We have a current vacancy for a  Casual / Part-time Café Assistant , within our Para Quad Shenton Park facility.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and assembling r menu items to consistent standards

• Supporting kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Taking customer orders and providing friendly service at the counter

• Taking payments

• Keeping the café clean and tidy

• Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed

• Following all health and safety protocols and company procedures.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a café, kitchen or hospitality environment

• Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety practices

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy periods

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach

• Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team

• Flexibility to work various shifts
  

A NDIS Clearance  is required.
